12b3: Holding down the alt/option key and dragging out a file does not copy

In 12b3, I was trying to copy files by dragging the items out of the file sidebar (while holding the alt key) to the desktop. The cursor showed the green plus bubble, but instead of copying it, it was moved. If I tried moving in the file sidebar while holding down alt, it does copy.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click a file in the file side bar
  2. Hold down alt key (green plus bubble should appear)
  3. Drag the file out to the desktop

Expected Result:
File is copied to the desktop

Actual Results:
File is moved to the desktop

Thank you for the report! We actually just noticed this in the latest update to Transmit as well, and are investigating a fix for both.

Looks like in the release of Nova 12 it works as expected!
