Hello,
I’m new to Nova and would like to know if it is possible to change the default behaviour when opening files. Currently when I click on a file it will be opened in a new tab. What I want is that it opens in split pane instead. Would that be possible to implement in as an extension?

Unfortunately, this is out of the capabilities of extensions, which have no control over split placement at this time. However, I will consider this a feature request! (both the ability to do what you ask as well as allowing an extension to provide it.)
Thanks for adding it to the Feature List. I’m normally an Acme [0] user and I like its behaviour of opening files like a tilling window manager. On big monitors I find this very pleasant.
