Nova says “No Git repository found” if the project folder is not a root folder in a repository. I think this changed in the Nova version 12. Or maybe I just don’t understand something! Thanks for any advice!
Same in 11.
You can open the sub folder in a new window and manage for from there.
Sorry for the late response but still not working. If I open a sub folder from git folder structure, the Nova says “No Git repository found”. This did not happen prior version 12. Opening the root folder is the only way to access git functionality in Nova 12.

FYI the comparison function (the button on upper right corner) is working but still cannot commit, revert etc.
It would still be nice to manage the git commits from the subfolder’s window.
